Improvements and Enhancements
We have been working hard to improve
and enhance our flagship ERP application. The following is a brief list of our most recent enhancements:
Cash Requirements now highlight Vendor issues.
Month-End checklists have been simplified into a single page.
Enhanced T/R Statement now supports printing to PDF with OCR line.
A TCL query can be added to (e.g. add a date or other variable).
You can attach images and correspondence to individual violations.
You can attach images and correspondence to individual T/R units.
A Data Transfer Builder has been implemented in the web environment.
These improvements to our application assist users tremendously and make our web-based application
so much easier to use than other web-based applications.
When displaying a Cash Requirements Detail form vendors with various issues will be highlighted in red.
To view exactly what the issue is, simply click on the highlighted vendor# in the Vendor column.
Month-End checklists have been redesigned and can be displayed by navigating to Tools > Print EOM
Checklists then clicking the (?) image.
Printing to PDF documents is now easier than ever. When output is selected, a form appears after the
output is prepared requesting the user select the destination of the output. One of the options, which
is the default by the way, is a PDF document. T/R statements can now be printed as a PDF document,
which includes the OCR-A font as part of the PDF. This means that you can print statements directly
to the high-speed printers in your office.
Custom queries (or scripts) can be run from within Advantos ERP BackOffice. Sometimes, the user wants to
pass some variable into the query or script. Now that capability is available. The query can't be changed
but additional parameters can be added if the script is designed to accept these additional parameters.
We have often been asked if it's possible to create
a link to an image or document from individual
violations. Now you can do this. Simply enter the link, as a browser would use in its URL, then
a short description of the image or document then save the violation.
Also, we have enhanced the T/R Units maintenance form to allow you to attach
a document to any T/R Unit. Again, just add the URL and a short description then [S]ave the unit.
The Data Transfer Wizard has been replaced by the Data Transfer Builder within the web environment. There
is no need to download and install additional software in order to do any kind of data transfer to your
client machine. The Transfer Builder creates a comma-separated file that is called from your browser. Once
opened, you can save this file anywhere you want within your local network. You can save this file as an
Excel file that can be used by other Microsoft Office applications as a data source.
