Advantos Systems, Inc. is committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. In general, you can visit Advantos Systems, Inc. on the Web without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself.
Advantos Systems, Inc. will never sell, rent or disclose your personally identifiable information to outside parties without your consent unless compelled by law or court order to do so. With your permission, Advantos Systems, Inc. may send you e-mail regarding our new products, upgrades, or select third party products. In any case, we do not disclose your personally identifiable information to such third parties. Information That We Collect and Track
There are times when we may need to collect information from you through our Web site. This generally involves filling out forms so you can download or order an Advantos Systems, Inc. product from our web site. When you request a demonstration or wish to contact us we require you to fill out a form with your name and email address information on it.
Advantos Systems, Inc. uses various methods to collect certain other kinds of information, including:

- System information
None of these methods can be personally identified with you with the exception of cookies, which can optionally store information that you may enter in forms on our Web site, as described below.

Some Advantos Systems, Inc. pages use cookies. Cookies are used to better personalize the content, banners and promotions that you and other users will see. A "referer" is the information passed along by a web browser that references the Web URL you linked from, and is automatically collected by our Web server. This information is collected and used by Advantos Systems, Inc. to understand the web sites referring traffic to our download pages and to present appropriate content to our potential customers. Referer information is tabulated by Advantos Systems, Inc. on an aggregated basis to identify general trends and traffic patterns.
From time to time, Advantos Systems, Inc. may enter into agreements with content partners that require Advantos Systems, Inc. to count the number of product downloads and/or product sales stemming from a referral from a content partner site. This information is collected, used and aggregated by Advantos Systems, Inc. to fulfill the reporting requirements of those agreements. This information may also be combined with the referer information described above and tabulated on an aggregated basis to identify general trends and traffic patterns. At the time of product download and/or purchase, information you provide to Advantos Systems, Inc., including personal information and referring URL’s, is collected in our web server logs and customer database and is kept strictly confidential and not shared with third parties.
IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the Internet. Your IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer so that data (such as the Web pages you request) can be sent to you. They are automatically gathered by our Web server. Advantos Systems, Inc. will not use your IP address to attempt to identify your personal information.
System information we gather includes time, type of Web browser being used, the operating system/platform, and CPU speed. This information is sent automatically by your Web browser when you are connected to a Web site and is used by Advantos Systems, Inc. only for broad demographic statistics. This information is used by Advantos Systems, Inc. in identifying broad demographic trends and may be used to provide information appropriate for your computer system. You will not be personally identified from this information.
What We Do With The Information We Collect and Track
The personally identifiable information gathered from the forms you fill out on our Web site is used in one of three ways:
- to provide you with information or to ask you to participate in surveys about products, services, news and events,
- to allow you to purchase and download products; and
- to aggregate broad demographic information in order to understand general user trends.
Advantos Systems, Inc. retains the services of certain outside contractors to perform services on our behalf. Third Party Disclosure of Information We Collect and Track
Advantos Systems, Inc. will never sell, rent or disclose to third parties our users’ personally identifiable information collected from the distribution of Advantos Systems, Inc. products or gathered on a Advantos Systems, Inc. Web site. If you purchase a product or service developed or owned by a third party, Advantos Systems, Inc. may provide to the product owner or licensor the same information you provide to us.
Communication With Our Clients
In addition to product update, promotional and informational e-mails that Advantos Systems, Inc. sends to its users from time to time, we may, on occasion, invite you to participate in a focus group, phone survey or send you postal mail.
You may always opt-out of receiving such mail by clicking on the link provided at the bottom of our e-mail to you.
Once you supply us with personal information, such as an e-mail address, Advantos Systems, Inc. does not change the manner of usage of such information from its original purpose, unless we first obtain your informed consent.
Security of Personal and Payment Information
Advantos Systems, Inc. maintains controls to provide security over certain financial information you provide us, including credit card details, during the purchase process. This is evidenced through:
- The use of secure connections using SSL to safeguard information when transmitted from the customer’s web browser to Advantos.
- The logical authentication security within the databases that store customer’s credit card numbers.

Advantos Systems, Inc. employees are required to acknowledge that they understand and will strictly abide by our corporate policies with respect to the confidentiality of user personal information.
Advantos Systems, Inc. only gives access to databases containing personal information to employees on a need to know basis. Passwords are regularly changed pursuant to security protocols. Our security procedures are reviewed on at least a quarterly basis.

Advantos Systems, Inc. owns and maintains a variety of Web sites. Each of these sites may have their own mailing lists or other methods of contacting customers. All of the sites follow this privacy statement for gathering information or sharing personally identifiable information with third parties.
Advantos Systems, Inc. will use reasonable efforts to comply with this privacy statement and will take prompt corrective action when it learns of any failure to comply with its privacy statement.
